The LetterLights are Helpers!

We have learned that some of the Letter People have special names and special jobs. We have met Ms. A and Mr. I. They are LetterLights. They bring light to words by helping the other Letter People make words. For example, when Ms. A gets in the middle of Mr. M and Ms. P, they make the word "map". When Mr. I gets in the middle of Ms. F and Mr. N, they make the word "fin". We have learned that LetterLights are also known as "vowels". The other Letter People are known as "consonants". You might try making and reading words at home that are made up of the letters: m, n, p, b, f, v, a, and i.
