Each week the Kindergarten students bring things for Show & Tell that begin with our featured letter and sound. Some of the items shared this past week for the letter Nn were a nail, a notebook, things with numbers on them, and a New Jersey Nets basketball.
Ms. Carey, our student teacher, also brought something (actually someone) to Show & Tell. Her boyfriend, Todd Millikan, visited our room and shared some impressive "N" items. Mr. Millikan, a former Nebraska football player, was recently inducted into the Nebraska Football Hall of Fame. He shared his Nebraska Orange Bowl jersey, his football helmet featuring the red "N", a Sports Illustrated picture featuring him, and his Hall of Fame award. Each student received a personally autographed Nebraska Hall of Fame photo, too.
We congratulate Todd on his induction into the Nebraska Football Hall of Fame and we thank him for taking the time to visit our class. Also, many thanks to Ms. Carey for arranging his visit. It was an exciting and great Show & Tell surprise!!!
