Read-a-Thon

Sidney Elementary students set reading goals and raised money for reading materials through pledges during the Read-a-Thon held in March.  Dr. Rick and Mrs. Teresa Jamison and Dale and Sarah Sharp were guest readers during the week.  The culminating event was a PIE eating contest between our principal, Mrs. Spencer, and a challenger determined by student vote-our superintendent, Mr. Cruickshank.  Mr. Cruickshank was the winner, but Mrs. Spencer was a great competitor.
