We have met Ms. S. She wears super socks. Sometimes Ms. S feels sad, lonely, and nervous. When she is feeling this way she simply puts on her super socks and suddenly she feels like a Superhero! We have discussed coping skills that can help us when we are feeling sad, lonely, or nervous.
We discovered that there are many words that begin with the letter S! Right now we are hearing and using many words that begin with Ms. S's sound such as Santa, sleigh, stocking, star, snow, sled, snowpants, and surprise. What other words can you think of that begin with Ms. S's sound?
Ms. S's favorite numbers are 6 and 7. We have been practicing writing numbers from 0-100. The students enjoy the challenge of writing numbers such as 60, 76, and 600! You can practice this at home, too.
