Ms. V Visits

We have met Ms. V. She wears a vegetable vest. We learned that veggies give you vitamins. Ms. V says she is loaded with vitality and feels vigorous when she eats vegetables. We made our own vegetable vests and we are more aware of all the vegetables that we eat at school and at home.

We discovered that there are not very many words that begin with the letter V. This week the students shared toy vans, a Vanessa doll, vegetables, a violin, a vase, pictures of a volcano. a vacation photo, and vests from home. What else can you find at home that begins with the letter V?

We continue to work on writing numbers from 1-100. We are practicing writing the "next" number and the number "before". We are even writing numbers beyond 100. Numbers like 104 and 109 seem to be the most tricky for us. These are skills I encourage you to practice at home.
