Kindergarten Students Visit the Dentist with Ms. T

The Kindergarten girls and boys accompanied Ms. T to Dr. Dettman's dentist office in Sidney.  They learned about making a dental appointment, having their teeth cleaned and checked, and the importance of brushing their teeth two times a day.  They were very good listeners and they shared many things they knew about dental health with the dentist's assistant, Jo Ann.  Each student was given a tube of toothpaste to take home.  The students reported that they enjoyed the taste of the toothpaste from the dentist office much more than the toothpaste we made at school with baking soda, water, and mint flavoring.
