Sidney Fire & Rescue Volunteers Visit Sidney Elementary

Sidney Fire & Rescue volunteers recently visited Sidney Elementary to review and reinforce fire safety tips.  Students discussed getting out and staying out of a building when there is fire, calling 911, crawling low when there is smoke, and stopping, dropping, and rolling if there clothes catch on fire.  Students were excited to see the fire engine and walk through the rescue squad.  We appreciate the volunteers taking time out of their day to visit us and reinforce fire safety, especially since some of them had to leave in order to answer a fire call.
