Our Trip to the Vet Clinic

The Kindergarten girls and boys visited the Fremont County Vet Clinic with Ms. P.  Ms. P knows a lot about taking care of pigs and pets on her Pointy Patches Pig Ranch in Letter People Land.  We learned a lot about taking care of pets, too.  We saw the big table scale that weighs the animals.  We got to see Aaron's puppy, Zoey, get an examination by Dr. McGargill.  He checked Zoey's ears, eyes, and mouth.  He even gave her a shot! Then we took a tour of the clinic.  We saw dogs and cats and all of the equipment that the workers at the vet clinic use to keep pets and farm animals healthy and happy.  We loved seeing the "cow tipper"!  It's a big machine that tips a cow on its side so that its feet can be worked on.  We also enjoyed pink punch and pink and purple cookies shaped like puppies and pigs made by Dr. Laumann's wife.
