Ms. U joined us this week. She has an unusual umbrella. She can fly u-u-up into the air! We talked about what it would be like if we could fly u-u-up. We put our ideas into a classroom book. We drew the picture first, and then we wrote a sentence to tell about our picture. Perhaps your child can create their own book at home on this subject or on a subject of their choice.
We continue to work with numbers from 0-100. The students enjoy the challenge of writing "big" numbers.
Remember practice does not always make perfect, but practice will make permanent.

Layne is talking about going into the "gray star universe" in the cowboy cafe, do you have a planetarium or something along the sorts? He was very enthusiastic about it!!
